REQUEST FOR RECORDS UNDER
THE PUBLIC RECORDS ACT (“PRA”), AS 40.25.100-40.25.220; 2AAC 96.100 – 2 AAC 96.900

Under the AS 40.25.122, the PRA cannot be used by a party, or person on its behalf, in judicial or administrative litigation with the state to obtain records that are relevant to that litigation. Accordingly, YOU REPRESENT, by making this request, that you are not such a party or person.

Requesters may be required to pay search and copying costs, including personnel costs, and payment may be required before records are disclosed. See AS 40.25.110 – 40.25.115; 2 AAC 96.210; 2 AAC 96.360; 2 AAC 96.460.

Records reviewed at DO&G cannot be marked or otherwise altered or removed from the room where made available.

DO&G will respond within 10 working days of receiving the request. See 2 AAC 96.325. The response may provide requested records, request clarification, require advance payment, and/or notify the Requester that more time is needed to respond.

Records Requested

If requesting review of records at DO&G Office, please indicate the date and time you would like to view the records below. DO&G Staff will respond to your request and confirm staff will be available at that time or will propose an alternate time for viewing the records. The Division requires 48 hour notice for appointments to view records in person. Please note that lease case file documents after 7/1/2018 will only be available digitally and not placed in the physical case files.

Please include as much detail as possible to help identify the documents you require, such as date, unit name, company, or decision type.
