WNS Products Pipeline

ConocoPhillips Alaska, Inc. (CPAI) applied on May 5, 2023, for a Western North Slope (WNS) Products Pipeline (WNSPP). The WNSPP would originate at the Kuparuk Central Processing Facility 2 (CPF2) and end at the Alpine Central Facility (ACF) at the Colville Delta 1 (CD1). The purpose of the pipeline would be to import diesel and other products for use in the Colville River Unit (CRU), Greater Mooses Tooth Unit (GMTU), and eventually the Bear Tooth Unit (BTU) for powering equipment, supporting well work operations, and for freeze protection of wells. CPAI proposes to construct a 34.8-mile, above ground 6-inch pipeline from the CPF2 to ACF, with a design flow rate of 3,250 barrels per day. Approximately 24.4 miles of the pipeline would cross state lands.
