Kenai Kachemak
Kenai Kachemak Pipeline is a high-pressure, primarily buried, natural-gas transmission pipeline on Alaska's Kenai Peninsula. Throughout its route, the pipeline parallels Kalifornsky Beach Road, the Sterling Highway, Cohoe Loop Road, and Oilwell Road. It was built in three phases during 2003, 2004, and 2006, which include the Happy Valley and Kasilof Extensions. The KKPL mainline was built with 12.75-inch pipe of 0.330 and 0.500-inch wall thickness, and is rated for a maximum allowable operating pressure of 1,480 psig. The 6.625-inch diameter Kasilof Extension is approximately 4.2 miles long, of which 4.1 miles are located on State lands. The pipeline is currently leased by Kenai Beluga Pipeline, LLC .
